The Association of Independent Art Glass Studios was formed in February 2004 by a group of successful art glass studio owners.We, the founding members, employ a variety of construction methods, including, but notlimited to, the “overlay art glass” construction technique.

The purpose of our organization is to assist our members to operate successful and profitable art glass studios. These are our goals: 

• Research and identify reliable sources for materials used in an art glass studio.
• Consolidate our membership to increase buying power.
• Organize and host an annual conference to introduce new products, build relationships, and have fun!
• Maintain a Design Share web site for the exclusive use of our members.
• Identify opportunities for complimentary products, and assist our members in developing and marketing these products.
• Provide a communication forum for the exchange of information.
• Establish and make available to our members quality training programs.
• Create and make available to our members promotional brochures and other marketing materials.
• Promote professional and ethical business practices.
